I went to Shirakawa-go this week with my friends. Shirakawa-go is a japanese traditional village. the old houses are covered by "kayabuki" roof with "Gasho" style. Kaya is a kind of dried grass.
Shirakawa-go is a world heritage, inscribed in 1995. It's located in Gifu Prefecture, about 6 hours from Wakayama City by car through highway.
This pic was taken in a hotel in Tokyo city during my trip last year. I forgot the hotel's name, sorry. But it's near to the Tokyo Disneyland.
It was december, the hotel was decorated in christmas theme. So many lights there, made situation more romantic. I like it!
Before slept, I went arround the hotel and its lobby. Hmmm...so nice!
This is my campus. I spend a lot of times here to attend classes of just stay at my laboratrory. This building is only for Faculty of Systems Engineering, other faculty's buildings are lil bit old. Yup, coz Faculty of Engineering is newer than others. So, the architecture of this building is really different compared to others. It's nice, isn't it?
I was surprised when find a bucket of beautiful flowers with a postcard in front of my door.
Really...I didn't think that my proffessor would give me this such of amazing gift :)
