Don't care any more but have to organise summer holidays sometime and can only work around an August event for so long - there is always my back garden if that is any use, can organise a church in walking distance and am sure we could secure some beds as well. Might be a boring location but perhaps we could persuade someone we know to hand over the keys to Eden for the afternoon if you wanted something a bit fancier! can see this is a really active site and blog. HAve just come back from Venice from a very cold and walking weekend. Loved the city and still busy with tourists even though it is February - would hate to see it in high season when the place is full of people. Dying on its feet though so go see it before it vanishes

Hands up on wedding venues please - the options are now west of Ireland, northern Spain parador or large rental property in the vicinity of Girona - for cheap Ryanair flights, or else Tarifa on Sapin's Atlantic coast for a windswept beach affir. Ryanair fly to Jerez which isn't too far away. Any preferences - especially you lot transporting lots of children long distances?? Speak now or forever hold your peace.
