Mumbai Bandstand : Stunning!

Well this is one of the famous landmarks in Mumbai, Bandstand @ bandra...but never ever have I seen it looking so stunning. The pic was clicked sometime last June during the rainy season...the heavy clouds were hovering above as the sun was about to set...creating an amazing view in the heavens !! One of my best snap till date.

This is a zoom in on the structure showed in the picture below this one. Its a mixture of Glass and ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) and these are the materials used now a days to give the modern new millenium look.

Flooded Subway..

Well the rains lashed away at everyone, the rich and the poor. But the rich will recover soon enough, the poor might never get back to normal life...a painful picture I caught of the sufferings of the people in the city...

Floods in Mumbai!!

This is a picture from my city of Mumbai, which was hit my heavy rains and floods for the whole of last week. It caused devastating scenes in my city and I managed to take some pics of the damage and pain the rains caused.

The picture is of a small river which flows through the city and is hardly 5 minutes from my house!

Well my mom had soaked in some beans to cook one day and i jus wanted to try out how they would look in a close-up snap... well as it turned out the final product wasn't all that bad...what say??!!

Colours of Nature ---- Breathtaking!!

I visited a garden nearby which my mom suggested to me saying it had some beautiful flowers which I could capture with my camera...I warned her that it should be worth the trip and I sware it was worth every second there.....there were a range of colourful flowers waiting to be clicked and I would share it with you all in here...

Flowers in my window

This was some part of a plant in my kitchen window...though it doesnt look that great when viewed with naked eye...through the lens it just looks fantastic...have a look..

Also please notice how the small purple plant on the right side comes into the focus and become ultraclear...while the rest of the background which is green has a blurred effect
