Future Development

Hi all. The BusyThumbs Team have been quiet as of late but rest assured a new development phase could be commissioned soon. This hasn't been confirmed but we hope to add brand new features and improvements.

Server Downtime

We apologise for the recent server downtime. This was due to a hardware failure and has now been corrected. We are still in the process of rebuilding the site, so if something isn't currently working, please be patient, we are all hard at work fixing the remaining problems.

BusyThumbs Tags now with Feeds

Following yesterday's announcement of BusyThumbs' immediate tags implementation, we're now hot on the heels with tag feeds. A tag feed is a great way of keeping an eye on a given subject, by listing the latest posts on the chosen tag. Go to the tags page and click on any tag for links to its feed in both RSS 2.0 and ATOM 0.3 format. As usual, we welcome any feedback on these new features.

BusyThumbs Tags - classify your posts!

We are proud to announce tagging functionality for all BusyThumbs members. Tags allow you to classify your posts by assigning them simple words, or tags. Tags can be searched from your control panel (your own tags) or from the tags page (all tags on BusyThumbs). They allow you to quickly find a post on a given subject, whether yours or someone else's. Tags have been popularised by various services like Del.icio.us and Flickr. More information on tags can be found here.

Update: Popular service Threadwatch has reported on our tags launch.

No New Pictures in the Last Hour?

Following a change in the script earlier on today, the manual uploading of pictures was broken for a short period of time. The problem went unnoticed for a while but has now been fixed. Many thanks for the user who pointed it out!
